How To Enable Cookies

In order to use the Paw Creek Ministries Online Bookstore "cookies" must be enabled in your web browser. If they are not, you will get the following error when you press the Order button for an item, "An error occured please restart shopping" and you will see the following symbol in the lower right corner (if you are using Internet Explorer as your web browser):

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x Browser
- Select Tools
- Select Internet Options
- Select the Privacy tab.
- Select Advanced
- Deselect override automatic cookie handling button
- Click on the OK button at the bottom of the screen.
- Click OK to exit.
- Close all Internet Explorer windows and then re-open Internet Explorer. If you still have problems, restart your computer, open up Internet Explorer and go back into the bookstore and everything should work.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x
- Click Tools on the menu bar.
- Click Internet Options.
- Click the Security tab.
- Click the Custom Level button.
- Scroll down to the Cookies section.
- To Enable:
Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" to "Enable".
Set "Allow per-session cookies" to "Enable".
- Click OK.
- Close all Internet Explorer windows and then re-open Internet Explorer. If you still have problems, restart your computer, open up Internet Explorer and go back into the bookstore and everything should work.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x
- Select "Internet Options" from the View menu.
- Click on the "Advanced" tab.
- Scroll down to find "Cookies" within the "Security" section.
- To enable:
- Select "Always accept cookies".
- Click "OK".
- Close all Internet Explorer windows and then re-open Internet Explorer. If you still have problems, restart your computer, open up Internet Explorer and go back into the bookstore and everything should work.
Netscape 7.x
- Click Edit on the Toolbar.
- Click Preferences
- Click the Privacy and Security category; expand the list to show the subcategories.
- Click Cookies
- Three options are displayed. Click the appropriate choice:
- Disable cookies
- Enable cookies for the originating web site only
- Enable all cookies
- If you want to be notified when a web site tries to set a cookie, select "Warn me before accepting a cookie."
- Close all Netscape windows and then re-open Netscape. If you still have problems, restart your computer, open up Netscape and go back into the bookstore and everything should work.
